Erick Mas

Associate Professor at Tohoku University's International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) researching disaster sciences.

Mas been researching disaster science for over 15 years. He uses geoinformatics and simulation technologies to estimate tsunami impacts and ways to evacuate. He developed a tsunami evacuation model using agent-based modeling that was applied on multiple locations in Asia and South America.
